Our goal is to preserve and promote the legacy of photographer Dezső Révai (Alias Turai) known for his photographs of the Spanish Civil War.

 

Since his death the majority of Turai photographs, personal objects, equipment and documents have remained in the hands of the Révai family. Over the years they have carefully selected materials from the archive that would give the general public the best possible window into Dezső Révai’s life and work. This exclusive collection is now available for sharing with everyone here.
